Owners Council
DBIA New England is a resource for owners who use design-build, or who are weighing whether it fits their next project.
The Owners Council brings owners together to compare notes. It is a place to hear what worked on someone else's project, what did not, and why, from people who carry the same responsibilities you do.
The Council looks at the practical questions owners face when adopting design-build: how to structure a procurement, how to evaluate teams on qualifications, where risk actually sits, and what to expect from a delivery method that asks owners to make decisions earlier than they may be used to.
A room without a sales pitch
The Council is open to owners of public and private projects, vertical or horizontal. It is deliberately owner only. You can ask a direct question and get a direct answer, without anyone in the room hoping to win your next contract.
